Story

When I founded ADAPT, my vision was simple: everyone deserves the opportunity to recover, rebuild their life, and have hope for the future.

Today, ADAPT provides 65 supported housing beds, all of which are full. We’ve recently expanded our women’s provision to 11 beds, which are also full, showing just how great the need is.

This autumn marks our biggest milestone yet. In October, we will launch our dedicated Women’s Treatment Programme, providing specialist recovery support for women who are ready to break free from addiction and trauma.

Many of the women we support have experienced domestic abuse, homelessness, exploitation, poor mental health, or the loss of their children. They don’t just need a roof over their heads—they need safety, therapy, structure, support, and people who believe in them.

To make this programme possible, we need to recruit and train additional staff before it opens. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards employing the team needed to deliver life-changing support and give women the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Recovery changes everything. It reunites families, reduces homelessness, eases pressure on the NHS and emergency services, and gives people the chance to become parents, employees, volunteers and role models once again.

Thank you for believing in our mission. Your support isn’t just funding a programme—it’s giving someone the chance to start over.

Together, we can help more people recover, one life at a time.
