In memory of Eddie Waterfall
As the frontline of the NHS in Scotland, we provide an emergency ambulance service to a population of over 5 million people serving all of the nation’s mainland and island communities. Our Charitable Funds support services by enhancing the environment for patients and staff.

Story

On Friday 10th of July our good friend and colleague, Eddie Waterfall, passed away suddenly, leaving a huge void in many hearts.

Eddie's family would like to donate his memorial collection to the Scottish Ambulance Service's Benevolent Fund.

The Scottish Ambulance Service Benevolent Fund is a registered charity (Scottish Charity No. SC025304) and is dedicated to relieving financial hardship, the stress of ill-health and distress among serving and former employees, as well as their dependants. It provides critical welfare and financial support, to those in need.

All who knew Eddie would agree that he would help anyone, with an unwavering kindness. Eddie went above and beyond for all around him, and he faced everything in life with a spirit of positivity that lifted all around him.

For many reasons, the family's intention to donate to the Benevolent Fund to help others resonates in all who had the pleasure of knowing him, a fitting tribute to a friend and colleague.

We ask that any donations made are tagged with 'In memory of Eddie Waterfall' so the family can take comfort in the kindness and generosity of you all when the page closes.

Please share this page, reaching out to all of Eddie's friends and colleagues, in memory.
