Thanks for visiting my Justgiving page in aid of the British Heart Foundation. My daughter Beth, son James and I, and now Bill's boys Tom & George are sailing in the Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit, a 26 mile race from Plymouth round the Eddystone lighthouse and back, in our boat Freedom.

We are raising money for BHF as my brother Bill had a heart attack whilst on our family holiday in France recently, he has very sadly now passed away after a period in ICU.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
