Story
In April 2024, my sister Michelle — Eden’s auntie — was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, an aggressive form of blood cancer. She spent a year in hospital isolation undergoing intensive chemotherapy and fighting for her life.
After the first cycles of chemotherapy failed, she was told her only chance of survival would be a stem cell transplant.
At times we all started to lose hope that a donor would be found in time, but thankfully on 6 February 2025, Michelle’s life was saved by an anonymous stem cell donor found through Anthony Nolan.
Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer by growing their register of stem cell donors, funding research and supporting patients through transplant.
To say thank you and help raise money for this incredible charity, Eden (age 8) has decided to climb Snowdon.
Because Eden is under 16, this page has been set up on her behalf.
Any support would mean so much to our family.
