Etape Loch Ness 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·
Jake Reid, Calum Hume, Ross Miller & Daniel Wright are joining forces to take part in the Etape Loch Ness challenge on the 28th April 2024 for Alzheimer’s Scotland.
They are dedicating their efforts to support Alzheimer Scotland an organization that works tirelessly to fund ground-breaking research and provide vital support services for those affected by dementia. With 90,000 people in Scotland living with dementia, the aim of Alzheimer's Scotland is to ensure that no one faces this challenging journey alone.
The Etape Loch Ness challenge is taking place around iconic Loch Ness offering the chance to cycle 66 miles (106 km) on traffic free roads. The 360° closed-road route around the loch starts and finishes in the Highland capital of Inverness, offering 900m of ascent. The King of the Mountain stage awaits them- a demanding climb spanning 4.8-mile (7.72 km) and gaining an impressive 380m in height with a gradient reaching 12% at times.
Jake, Calum, Ross, and Daniel have set their sights high not only on conquering this challenging event but also on making a significant impact through their fundraising efforts. They have pledged their commitment to EDF - Colleague Fundraising Page and aim to raise £2,000 for Alzheimer's Scotland services and ground-breaking dementia research.
By supporting Jake Reid, Calum Hume, Ross Miller, and Daniel Wright in their Etape Loch Ness journey, you can help make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
