Story
I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of my grandad Pete, who passed away last year from kidney cancer.

The photo above is of my grandad running the Edinburgh Marathon back in 1983.
Being able to run the same race all these years later, in his memory, feels incredibly special and personal to me.
On top of that, this marathon represents something deeper in my own life. I’ve spent years dealing with chronic foot pain, and for a long time, running felt completely out of reach.
To now be in a position where I can train for and run a marathon is something I'm very grateful for. The marathon is not not just for me, but for my grandad too.
I’m raising money for Kidney Cancer UK to help support others affected by this disease.
If you’re able to donate, it would mean a lot. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you
