Story
I am running the Robin Hood Half Marathon 2026 in memory of my dad, who sadly passed away from a brain tumour in 2018.
Losing my dad is something that will always stay with me and my family. I wanted to take on this challenge to do something positive in his memory, while raising money and awareness for Brain Tumour Research.
Every mile I run will be for him.
Brain tumours continue to affect thousands of families, and much more research is needed to improve diagnosis, treatments and outcomes. By supporting Brain Tumour Research, I hope that the money I raise can contribute towards a future where other families have better options and more time with the people they love.
Training for and completing a half marathon will be a challenge for me, but there couldn't be a more important reason for doing it.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean a great deal to me and will help support vital research.
Thank you so much for your support.
In memory of my dad.
