We absolutely love our rescues but its tough accepting that we rarely meet them under good circumstances. Lux was rescued after he was hit by a car and suffered numerous traumatic injuries. He was covered in so much blood it made it near impossible to distinguish his injuries. When he was rushed to the vet, he needed a blood transfusion before anything else. Eventually, the doctors had Lux stabilized and started tending to his injuries. We were so thrilled when Lux pulled through and has now fully recovered from his initial procedures. Hes just not quite finished. Lux still needs surgery to be neutered and to remove the teeth crushed from the accident. Hes closer than ever to moving on from all the pain but funds are running extremely low from all of his prior medical expenses. Everyone came together to help get Lux the immediate medical attention he desperately needed, now lets keep going! Lets work to get him the remainder of his medical treatments!
