The last few years have been a bit tough for me, and although my running has kept me sane, I've not set up any sponsorship pages since 2022... until now!

On April 27th, 2025, I will be running the Adidas Manchester Marathon! This will be my FIFTEENTH marathon, and, as in previous years I will be running in aid of two wonderful charities which are very close to my heart: National Kidney Federation and MacMillan Cancer Support.

The National Kidney Federation's aim throughout the UK is to promote both the best renal medical practice and treatment, and the health of persons suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) or Established Renal Failure (ERF).They also support the related needs of those relatives and friends who care for kidney patients. They offered advice and support to my father-in-law and mother-in-law in the run up to my father-in-law's pioneering "pooled" kidney transplant in January 2011.
