Members of The Education Society from the University of Derby are taking part in a 12-mile charity night walk on Thursday 24th October. The walk will commence at Derby Cathedral before embarking on a trek to Elvaston Castle and aiming to return to the city-centre around midnight. Our night time walk will have a 'glow' theme and the partaking members will be covered in glow sticks and neon colours!

We, as a society, decided to raise money for The Titans Children’s Trust because it will have a positive impact on children and young families that our members will encounter as trainee teachers on placement in the Derbyshire area. This is a charity that our members feel is close to home and will be a thoroughly worthwhile cause.
