On September 19th 2026 I will be taking part in Equinox 24, a solo running event where I will attempt to run as far as I can during a 24 hour period.

The course is a 10km loop around the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. For the last two years, I've taken part as part of a team, completing 30km and 40km. This year is different. I'll be running solo, with the goal of completing 10 laps – a total of 100km – within 24 hours.

One of the reasons I am doing this event is in memory of my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2017 from Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's gradually steals memories, independence and precious moments from families.

All funds raised will go directly to Alzheimer's Research UK to improve treatments, create more accurate early diagnoses and develop a cure.
