3 Peaks · 7 September 2024

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and 15 September is World Lymphoma Awareness Day. Let’s talk lymphoma together and raise awareness of the UK’s most common blood cancer.

Story

Sadly my mother, Thelma Bartlett, has been diagnosed with follicular lymphoma and is now under undergoing a 6 month course of chemotherapy.

My brother, brother in law and I, with some great friends are going to climb the UK 3 peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hours on the 7th September to raise much needed funds for Lymphoma Action.

They are the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer. They have been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years to drive improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of the disease.

Sadly cancer is becoming an all too common occurrence and affects many different families across the world. If you can help us raise funds we would greatly appreciate it and with any luck we can help to find a cure sooner rather than later!

Thank you x
