80 Mile run · 29 April 2023

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

8 years, 80 miles, £8,000

On the 29th on April I will run the length of The Yorkshire Wolds Way in one go (80miles). This will be the hardest challenge I’ve ever taken on. I am doing this to celebrate 8 years since my diagnosis with acute myeloid leukaemia and to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity that helped me during my time of need.

As with my cancer treatment, I won’t be doing this alone. People will be supporting, and running their own challenges on the day. None other than my wife to be, Emma, taking on her first trail marathon.

Please give generously.

Thank you 😊
