I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2024 to raise funds for Barts Charity.

With the help of supporters and partners the charity drives forward the healthcare improvements and research discoveries that are shaping a better, fairer future for East London so they can live healthier, longer lives. They also support the wellbeing of Barts Health NHS staff.

I have decided to run for Barts Charity for a few reasons. Working in the NHS, I know the important work these charities do and the support they offer NHS staff. As well as this, a close family member of mine received excellent care at Bart's Hospital recently so it means a lot to me to be able to pay that back in a small way. Lastly, they are doing vital work to improve health and wellbeing in one of the most deprived parts of London so that is worth supporting.
