Story
Support us on an inspiring journey as we embark on a trek along the breathtaking South West Coast Path, from the Land’s End to the Lizard Point. This epic adventure spans over 70 kilometres and will take place over two days, uniting Branch Managers from Devon, Somerset, and Cornwall alongside the Senior Leadership of South West and Wales. Our mission is clear: to make a significant difference in the fight against dementia.
Andy Duckett, Dave Vernon, Tim Bowden, Chris Towell, Steve Haigh, Aled Pillner, Adam Fricker, Kurt Heryet, Mackenzie Hallett, Ollie Ellis, James Millard, Lee Patton, Shannon Lamont Robinson, Mark Foster, Ashleigh Brant, Morgan Chapman Hayden Goosey, Julian Landry, Anthony Hamblett, Brian Marshall, Carl Mealey, Graham Short and Ed Humphries, will be the colleagues taking on the trail!
As we walk together, we are not just covering miles; we are advocating for those affected by this devastating condition. Every step taken contributes to vital research, essential support services, and raising critical awareness about Alzheimer's disease. The need for support has never been greater, and your involvement is crucial in this endeavour.
We aim to raise a minimum of £6,000 to further our cause through the partnership between Travis Perkins and Alzheimer's Society. Together, we can work towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. Any donations big or small will be gratefully received. We would love to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause—your support can change lives. Let’s walk for a cause that matters.
Devon, Cornwall and Somerset region branches will be holding a World Cup Sweepstake to get further funds for this event.
