This year I’ve given myself the challenge of running the Chester triple in aid of Alder Hey Children’s hospital. Starting with the 10k on 9th March, then the half marathon on 18th May and finishing with the full marathon on 5th October. I’ve chosen Alder Hey as my son Roman needed specific tests which was only possible at Alder Hey and needed to see their kidney specialist. Thankfully Roman is healthy and has been discharged from Alder Hey and is now being monitored by the wonderful team at the Countess. I’d like to give something back and help other families.
