18/02/24 - 24/02/24 A 100km trek through the southern Moroccan Sahara, wild camping in the dunes and accompanied by camels, this is a brilliant challenge in some of the most evocative scenery on earth.

Story

Last time I was in the Sahara was 2016 when I ran the Marathon des Sables for WWTW. This time is rather less onerous (110km walk over 5 days), but the ultimate goal is the same - to support the remarkable work the charity does to support those most in need. I left the charity over three years ago and I am so proud to see how it has grown and grown since then, and is now a key component of the veteran landscape. And it continues to do its work in an innovative, disruptive and ground-breaking way.
