I'm raising funds for Second Hope which helps fund research for Secondary Breast cancer. I'm inspired by my friend Jules. whose life has been prolonged due to receiving 8 different treatment lines over the past five years. The money I raise will go towards improving the lives of her and others.

I've set myself a challenge of running 1000km in 2024 which I managed in 2021 (when there was nothing else to do!). To facilitate this, I've scheduled in 2 local 10km runs (February and September) plus 2 Ten Milers (Alton in May and the Great South Run in October) bookended with the Wimbledon Half and with any luck, the Denbies Bacchus Half in early September. Of course my efforts pale in comparison with the spirit shown by Jules.
