In memory of Edward Bush

3 Peaks Challenge

The Edward Bush Charitable Trust was founded in memory of Ed (Bear), who was tragically killed in a road accident in 2021. He was a kind, brave young man, with a deep passion for joining the army. The trust will honour his legacy by supporting members of the armed forces, veterans & their families.

Story

James, Douglas, Toby and Ben are all attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge in the next few weeks - hoping to raise money for The Edward Bush Charitable Trust.

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, aiming to do this within 24 hours.

Ben Nevis - the highest mountain in Scotland

Scarfell Pike - the highest mountain in England

Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft), with a driving distance between the mountains of 462 miles.

The 24-hour time includes both walking time and travel between the mountains — approximately thirteen hours steep hillwalking (day and night) and eleven hours driving between the mountains. It is an endurance event and minutes matter.

It would be amazing if you felt able to sponsor them for this incredible charity.
