Take part in London Marathon as a part of Team Sense, a group of incredible people who believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.

Story

Hello All:

Five years ago, I was vastly overweight and felt unhealthy in my life. Running became an outlet and means for me to not only combat this, but would bring a sense of stability for me. It would see me do things that I would have never imagined doing such as participating in 5k & 10k races and even half and full marathons. To those that know me, running is indeed a huge staple in my life. 2 and half years ago, I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's disease. Before she passed, I made her a promise that I would complete The Abbott World Marathon Majors which comprises of six of the largest and prestigious marathons in the world which include the Tokyo, London, Berlin, Chicago, Boston, and New York City Marathons. This year I plan on running in the London Marathon (my 4th of the 6) to put me on step closer to that promise. I am running this marathon on behalf of Sense Charity whose work help support people who are deafblind and those with complex disabilities, to be understood, connected and valued. I am asking anyone reading this to donate to Sense Charity, no matter how big or small the amount to help in their quest to aid people afflicted with deafblindness. I have included a link to their site for anyone wanting further information. I thank and appreciate you very much in advance.
