Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
East Grinstead Swimming Club are organising a swimathon for Meningitis Now, in memory of Oliver Shelley, in support of Oliver's family and to raise awareness about meningitis which took Oliver far too soon at only 17 years old.
Oliver was a lifeguard at Kings Leisure Centre, where our club trains (and where the swimathon is being held), he was friends with many of our older swimmers. His family were involved with our club thanks to Oliver's younger brother being one of our members.
Kings have kindly donated us pool time on the afternoon of Sunday 10 November to run this event, which is open to anyone who can swim and would like to fundraise in Oliver's memory. Details of how to register will be coming soon. Alternatively, if you would just like to support our efforts and donate to Meningitis Now, you can do so via this page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
