This walk is inspired by our community member Donna, whose life was profoundly affected by the loss of her mother and, shortly afterwards, her own bowel cancer diagnosis. During this challenging time, EHRS and Chai Cancer Care provided vital support and compassion. This event is Donna’s way of giving back and helping others facing similar journeys. On 19 April 2026, our community will come together for a one-mile or five-mile charity walk, open to all ages and abilities. The walk also aims to raise awareness of colon cancer, encourage early detection, and break the stigma surrounding the disease. All funds raised will directly support EHRS and Chai Cancer Care, helping both continue providing care, comfort, and hope when it is needed most.
