Story
Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
We are 8 guys from all over the UK who want to show our support for the heroic volunteer Lifeboat crews and support staff all around our coasts and abhor the abuse that they are currently being subjected to. Most of us have connections to lifeboat towns like Walmer and Staithes.
We are walking 100 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne from 20th to 27th September in aid of RNLI. Our initial target is £1000, but all funds raised will go directly to RNLI. (RNLI pays a small fee to Just Giving for its services). You do not have to pay a tip to Just Giving, so adjust the figure as you wish.
We are 8 guys standing up for RNLI. Thank you for any support you can give to the RNLI!
