18th Maidenhead beavers are doing fundraising for the annual Beaveree, and this year our charity is fundraising for Malawi 2024 - Project Africa.

Project Africa is a Berkshire Scouts international community project and global awareness programme. For the past 12 years Berkshire Scouts has been supporting and helping with projects at rural primary schools in Africa. Just under 100 Berkshire Scouts and leaders will be travelling to Malawi in the summer of 2024 to work alongside local builders in rebuilding and refurbishing 'Joshua' infrastructure, which is so important for local village communities, eg: feeding stations, local schools, community centres, etc - and we're going to help them get there with our fundraising!
