Story
On 12 April 2026, I’m taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Ayrshire Hospice.
The hospice does truly incredible work supporting people and families across Ayrshire through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Their care goes far beyond medical support – providing compassion, dignity and comfort when it matters most. It’s a charity that means a lot to many people, and one that relies heavily on fundraising and volunteers to keep delivering this vital support.
For me, this run is also personal. My amazing Grandma volunteers for the hospice and has done so for years. She’s one of the most selfless and inspiring people I know, giving up her time to help others who need it most. Supporting a cause that she cares so deeply about feels like a small way to recognise the difference she and the hospice make to so many lives.
The London Landmarks Half Marathon will be a challenge, but it feels like a small effort compared to the difference the hospice makes to so many people and families.
If you are able to donate, even a small amount, this would go a long way in helping the hospice continue the incredible work they do for patients and families across the community.
Thank you so much for your support.
