I've visited 50 distilleries and savoured whiskies from countless more, but I've never done anything quite like this before! On 9 May 2026, I'll be abseiling down the Port of Leith Distillery — the world's tallest distillery at a towering 131 feet — as part of the Port of Leith Distillery Abseil event.

Why? I'm raising funds for CHAS - Children's Hospices Across Scotland, an incredible charity that cares for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families, making sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, CHAS are determined that joy lives on.
