Story
CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) is a movement dedicated to fighting against suicide. Every week in the UK, 125 lives are lost to suicide, with a staggering 75% of those being male. But CALM refuse to accept this as the norm. CALM believe that every life is worth saving.
CALM exists to offer life-saving services, ignite conversations, and bring people together to reject living miserably. Their website provides valuable advice, and their helpline offers free and confidential chats with their compassionate staff, available online or over the phone. They are there for anyone who needs them, every single day.
By participating in the Great North Run 2024, a half marathon event taking place on September 8th, 2024, I aim to raise £350 (or more 😊) to fund their vital work.
With just £8, you can help fund one potentially life-saving call. Your contribution can make a real impact in someone's life and provide them with the support they desperately need.
Join us in this fight against suicide. Together, we can create a world where no one has to suffer in silence.
