Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page! A dedicated group of cyclists and golfers from the Kendleshire Golf Club (well some are) including Eion Bailey, Adrian Page, Gary Cooper. Mark Dalziel, Kev Stone, John Woodland and Colin Whiting are embarking on an inspiring 100 mile journey from the Kendleshire in Bristol to Machynys Peninsula Golf Club, all in support of the Captain’s charities, the Brightwell enhancing the lives of individuals living with chronic neurological conditions, and the Many Tears Animal Dog Rescue Centre.

Supporting people with living conditions is a cause close to our hearts, as one of our dear friends and fellow golfer has faced the challenges of multiple sclerosis in their family for many years.

The ride starts early on the 3rd September 2025 and we hope to complete the ride in about 10 hours, probably very saddle sore at the finish! We will be well supported for snacks, refreshments and various creams by Sue and Martyn Olds (the Kendleshire captain), Marcus Sykes and Phil Wiltshire.

We invite you to join us in this noble endeavour by contributing to our fundraising goal of £5,000. Your generous donations will directly support the Brightwells vital work in providing resources and assistance to people in need. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure; your details are safe with them. Once you donate, your contribution goes straight to the charity, making it the most efficient way to help. Together, we can make a difference! Thank you so much for your support.
