I'm joining #TeamSHC to run the iconic Sheffield Half Marathon in 2024 with my amazing colleague and specialist nurse Vanessa.

We will both be running to raise money and support our Endocrine Investigation Unit and our amazing nurse and admin team that work within.

The Endocrine Unit is small department based at the Royal Hallamshire and is home to a small but brilliant team. We specialise in several of the glands within the body and the many different hormones that are produced via them.

We would really appreciate as many donations that can be made and we are very grateful for all that are made. Please also feel free to share our page so we can raise as much money as possible.

We consider ourselves to be a active unit, so we decided to run this half marathon as it would be challenging, fun & doing something we enjoy all whilst raising some money. This will also be my first time running a half marathon so will need all the support I can get.

The NHS provides an incredible service in Sheffield but limited resources mean there is always more that can be done. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Sheffield Hospitals Charity is able to support the outstanding work of staff across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals to transform the care and treatment of all those who need it.
