Story

🌟 Sponsor El & Britt's 25k for SYCLS 🌟

We are a mum & daughter duo walking the Isle of Wight 25km Challenge 2024 in support of South Yorkshire Chaplaincy & Listening Service (SYCLS) - a charity providing holistic well-being and pastoral care services to communities across South Yorkshire.

SYCLS' work spans an incredible number of sectors, helping to support people in the NHS, Schools, Fire & Rescue Services, Hospices, Women's Refuges, Sports Organisations and more. At a time where 1 in 4 people experience mental health issues each year¹, yet 66% feel they have no one to talk to about their problems², community-based services like SYCLS are becoming more valuable than ever.

"Being able to speak to someone quickly when I hit crisis was crucial, not needing to wait weeks, months or even years made a huge difference in being able to get back on track fairly quickly." - SYCLS Beneficiary
