Story
Join us on an exhilarating journey as we take the plunge into the icy waters of the North Sea for the Polar Bear Challenge, all in support of Blue Space Highland. From 1st November 2025 to 31st March 2026, we will be swimming in our costumes—no wetsuits! Our goal is to raise £750 for this incredible charity that provides free wellness sessions to individuals across the Highlands, promoting mental health and well-being.
Every donation you make will help ensure that these vital sessions continue throughout 2026. Carla is embarking on her first year of winter sea swimming, committing to at least two swims of 250m each month, while Elaine aims for a total of 3000m per month, including at least two swims of 250m. With sea temperatures already hovering around 8–9°C and potentially dropping to a chilling 4–5°C in January and February, each swim will truly be a test of courage!
We are very grateful for your support as we strive to help Blue Space Highland continue their remarkable work. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a significant difference. Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with them—they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money goes directly to the charity, making it the most efficient way to contribute and support this worthy cause.
