Luther the dog walking, running and playing miles for Bromley URC during October

Bromley United Reformed Church seeks to be a place where everyone can feel welcome, safe, and, over the winter, warm. With the increase in energy costs and the need to refurbish parts of our hearting system, we are needing to raise additional funds.

Story

Luther the dog find Bromley URC a place where he gets a warm welcome, and is a place where he loves to welcome others warmly. Therefore, during October he is walking, running, and playing as many miles as he can to raise money to help to maintain this and refurbish aspects of the heating system.

Bromley URC is a hub for many community groups and initiatives. It hosts Bromley Homeless and one of the Bromley Borough Foodbank Centres. We have a community café, Rhiannon's Café, some of whose staff are neurodivergent. It is a place where many people come to find shelter and feel safe. It is a place where everyone is encouraged to be themselves, and find acceptance as who they are.
