Story

In Memory of Marianne

I have set this page up with a view to trying to raise awareness of Aspergers and the effect it has on a family by raising funds to support their work.

Marianne had many challenges in her life, including having a heart transplant aged 4 years, 5 months. However, those of you who knew Marianne will know that Asperger's syndrome provided her with a far bigger challenge than her heart condition.

It was her wish that people donate money, in her name, to the Aspergers Syndrome Foundation. She dearly wished that training be given to help people in the general public be aware of the condition and how to deal with it.

In her name, I have taken on this challenge. I hope that, through a better understanding of the condition, will come tolerance and then, hopefully, acceptance.

Know that whatever you donate will help to make a difference.

So, thank you!

Elaine
