Free to Run’s mission is to advance gender equity globally through running. They do this by providing leadership and wellbeing programmes, in conjunction with running experiences, for adolescent girls and young women in conflict areas like Iraq and Afghanistan.

The end goals are gender equality, improved access to public space and leadership opportunities for young women.

I'm going to do my first marathon (Dramathon) on 19 October on the trails around Speyside. What will keep me going is reminding myself what a privilege that is.
