We are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 6th April 2025 in aid of Aching Arms.

We are completing this in honour of Elaine's late son Chester.

Chester, was born with his twin sister Matilda 10 weeks early on the afternoon of Friday 17th December 2021.

Sadly, it was picked up very quickly that little Chester’s heart had not formed properly, and his time would be short.

Despite bravely fighting and showing what a little soldier he was, on New Years Eve 2021, and after meeting his big brother JJ, Chester took his final breath cradled in the arms of his devastated mother Elaine and father Jeff.

Aching Arms is a charity that gives its comfort bears to hospitals and hospices for midwives and nurses to offer to bereaved parents in their care. Along with the bears, they also offer a support service to parents after their loss, whether it was during pregnancy, at birth or soon after.

All donations are gratefully received and will have a big impact in offering comfort and support to bereaved families.
