Sue, Christine and myself have a very special friend in our lives who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. A year ago she was given the catastrophic news that she had only 3 months to live, a year has passed and our beautiful friend is still here battling everyday.

We see our friend fighting this dreadful disease and feel hopeless on the sidelines. So… the three of us ( actually I blame Sue) had the wildest idea to raise money and run the Southend Half Marathon!!!
