*COURAGE ON THE CATWALK*

Wow!!!! I’ve been selected as a model for Courage on the Catwalk 2026!!!!

I am approaching 2 years since my diagnosis of Lobular Breast Cancer and on the whole I am doing ok .. the journey is never quite over when active treatment stops. The medication for the following 5/10 years takes its toll on your body, and I’ll freely admit that anxiety has been a big stumbling block for me.. the fear never goes away once you’ve had a diagnosis

I am honoured, excited and terrified in equal measures to take to the stage lol. , I am so happy to have the opportunity to do this for Friends of Anchor who have done so much for me.

Please help me to raise as much as possible

This amazing charity gives unending support in whatever capacity is required to cancer patients and their families. They also fund research and help fund new equipment to diagnose and treat people with a cancer diagnosis or blood disorder.

The cancer journey is never really over .. but with the support of family and friends it is made a little smoother☺️ I am blessed to have so many loyal friends, and to have made so many new ones on this journey. For that I will always be grateful🥰

*ABERDEEN KILT WALK*

As well as taking part in this phenomenal evening of fundraising in May this year, I have signed up for this years ABERDEEN KILT WALK in the hope of enhancing my fundraising efforts… I am feeling stronger than I was last year so I’m hoping to complete the 18 mile Mighty Stride.

I’ve roped Brian into doing it with me to help drag me round.. or maybe I’ll be dragging him round lol
