2LegsFor4

Our ultimate goal is to prevent the extinction of wild tigers: Eliminating wild tiger deaths due to poaching/poisoning is vital to ensure that wild tigers will have a wild future. We do this by: - Anti-Poaching Patrols - Employment - Education - Safety advice - Reducing human-animal conflict.

Story

My friend Paul (wildlife photographer) is something else. He's raised nearly £500k helping to protect endangered species, particularly tigers. He's run 25 marathons, including Everest, many in his famous tiger suit.

When he shared his plan for a new challenge walking from Tigerton in Scotland to Tiger Bay in Cardiff, 25 marathons in 25 days, I knew I had to step up too. Inspired by the Remembering Tigers event at the RGS last autumn, I've signed up to walk 4 marathons in 4 consecutive days at the end of August - a small way to help Tigers in India at risk from poachers, drought and a reducing habitat.

In 1900, there were over 100,000 tigers, today thats closer to 5,500, and growing, so there's hope. If you're able to spare a small donation (or more) I'd be extremely grateful - so will the tigers. Thank you.
