Story
For nearly 20 years, Martin and I have been involved with the Masoyi Bright Hope Foundation (MBHF), who support communities living in poverty in rural South Africa. They provide a holistic programme of support from sanitary towels through to feeding centres.
In October, we had the opportunity to visit Masoyi again and see the work firsthand. While we were deeply encouraged by the work of MBHF, one need stood out clearly and urgently: safe, secure housing for young families.
Many families are living in insecure dwellings, often patched together from scraps of wood and other temporary materials. These structures offer little protection from weather and also leave families feeling vulnerable and unsafe.
Your support will help us to build the next house for a family, offering them protection, safety and security and promoting health and wellbeing.
