I’m running the Manchester half marathon on October 12th and would like to use my place to draw attention to Cats Guidance, a not for profit registered charity made up of wonderful volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate and re-home cats.

I’ve seen firsthand the good work done by them, they have rescued and treated two of my own cats, one of which was found with a degloved jaw that required surgery.

They are a small local charity completely self-funded and donations go directly towards essentials like vet bills, food, flea and deworming treatments and medication.

If you are able to and would like to donate I know they and the cats in their care would be extremely grateful.
