On May 18th, I will be running the Hackney Half Marathon alongside GroundWork Training, fundraising for the British Red Cross. And my first ever halfa woo!!

The GroundWork Training coaching team has been running a Run Club with Pavilion Café since July 2024. We’ve joined Team Red Cross to help ensure they can support anyone, anywhere in the UK and around the world, when crisis strikes. Every pound donated will make a huge difference to those affected.

I will also be dedicating this run to my beautiful little brother Eddy, who suddenly passed in February. He always had a can-do attitude to everything he did. Something I, and many others, admired and will carry with me on this run. He was always my number one fan on Strava and always so supportive of me, and I hope to do him proud!

Although there are no words to describe this loss, doing this for him just feels right.
