Join me and my dad on THE GREAT ICELAND TREK as we embark on this challenge to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice.

Our goal is to raise £3,500 for this incredible charity that holds a special place in my heart. The care and support they provided to my family during a difficult time has inspired me to give back.

We will start this challenge by hiking up to Iceland’s youngest volcano, Geldingadalir, before walking to neighbouring Fagradalsfjall Volcano and the surrounding lava fields. (14km/6hours)

On our second day we will hike Vörðuskeggi Peak (805m). We will then trek up to Mt Skeggi the highest peak in the Hengill heritage site. (14km/8hours)

To end our challange we will hike along the fault lines that divides America and Europe. (10km/4hours)
