I have taken on the 'Peak the Reek' challenge with friends from the WIH business network to raise funds in support of Fréa and the work it does to help vulnerable Irish people across the North of England. In September I will be travelling to Co. Mayo on the west cost of Ireland to climb the 2,500ft to the summit of Croagh Patrick.

This is an important charity for me, in memory of my Grandmother, who was of Irish heritage and grew up in Newcastle. She was an amazing inspiration to me, as she was also a registered nurse, who spent over 45 years caring for others.
