Story
Keeping it short but not sweet...
If you've made it to this page then you'll know that no amount of words can describe my amazing Mum - who she was, and still is, and just how much I miss her.
Thames Hospice though... wow, what a place... and what a difference they made for both my Mum and our family. At a time when the term 'unlucky' felt like the most insensitive understatement, I felt a sense of luck that my Mum was being looked after here. Hospices are such a worthy cause that you may need to call upon when you least expect it.
Walking a half marathon is by no means the hardest physical challenge out there I know, but I reckon being 'me, myself and I' for a few hours (for the first time in a long time), on my birthday, whilst thinking about my lovely Mum, will be quite an emotional challenge for me. It's crazy scenes if I've managed to walk further than 1km with my two gorgeous little monkeys! Please sponsor me if you can, it's very much appreciated.
... I'll be that gal in the "It's my birthday" sunnies! 😎🎂
Ta muchly! 💕
