In May 2027, we will be travelling to Kenya to support the incredible work of Derby County Community Trust. Together with other volunteers, we will help improve local school environments by taking part in practical building and maintenance projects, creating safer and more inspiring spaces where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Access to a safe, welcoming school and quality education is something every child deserves. By volunteering our time and raising funds, we hope to make a positive difference to the daily lives and future opportunities of the children and communities we meet.

During our second week, we will also be helping to connect pupils in Kenya with children from our own school through live video calls. As part of our ongoing children's rights work, these conversations will allow pupils to share experiences, learn from one another, and develop a greater understanding of the different challenges children face around the world. We hope this cultural exchange will promote empathy, respect, global awareness, and a deeper appreciation of the rights every child should enjoy.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help support these projects and contribute towards creating better learning environments and brighter futures for children. Thank you for your support and for helping us make a meaningful difference.
