As we approach our own Christmas we are deeply conscious of the privilege we may enjoy in Ireland and the perspective we gain when we read about the lives of our fellow Jesuit students in Loyola Secondary School in South Sudan.

As a class group in Belvedere College SJ we want to support the LSS feeding programme appeal as part of our Advent Action for others.

We will do a sponsored fast (up to 12 hours) in solidarity with the students in LSS, South Sudan.

We are fortunate that we have access to one or more meals a day, something students in South Sudan cannot be guaranteed.
