Story

My Father Valeriy had an inborn heart defect and it affected his childhood, his adult years, the age he died (68), my childhood and attitudes to sports and outdoors activities, his view of himself and his physical capabilities and so much more. While not very much could have been done about his condition, many people can have their heart problems solved which will shift their and their families lives in a positive direction. I am challenging myself to ride 50 miles from London to Brighton, literally facing my fears as I never learned to ride a bike as a kid. But with help and training as part of RMF team I am aiming to get to the finishing line in Brighton and hope that you will come with me on this journey of hope, perseverance and compassion. Thank you for your kind donations!

The BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected, and they're all under our microscope.

Thousands of people every year are helped through the research we do. Research funded by everyday people, like you.

Every donation you make helps fund scientific breakthroughs. Fundraise for the BHF and help us turn science fiction into reality.
