In 2020 I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. After finishing an aggressive round of chemotherapy in 2022, I started an experimental immunotherapy treatment - except it wasn’t covered by the NHS.

The Harris & Trotter Trust were able to cover the cost of my treatment. I’m continuing to raise money for them so that they can support other patients with rare cancers in the future.

The NHS cannot always provide these treatments due to a lack of research data. Immunotherapy has revolutionised cancer treatment and peoples lives, and it’s the reason I’m lucky enough to be able to fundraise through my passion of teaching yoga today.
