On 31st August I will be part of a small team attempting to pull a 35,000kg Boeing 737 a length of 50 metres down Bournemouth airport runway. This is to raise money for MyTime Young Carers, a charity I volunteer with who support young carers between the ages of 5-25 years old.

Meet Sadie. Sadie’s mum has multiple sclerosis, and Sadie has been caring for her since she was just 5 years old. Sadie does a lot to help her mum, but it’s not easy. She’s often exhausted, she finds it difficult to keep up with schoolwork and she worries about the future. Most of all, Sadie feels alone, even though there are an estimated 700,000 young carers in the UK today. MYTIME exists to level the playing field for young carers like Sadie, by providing them with the support, opportunities and friendship that every child needs and deserves.
