Martlets is a local charity providing essential care to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas.Their involvement facilitated my mum Ann's wish to pass away in her own home with family, and their kindness and expertise helped make her final weeks as comfortable and peaceful as was possible.

Shockingly, as will all hospices, they are largely dependent on individual donations to fund their work.

I will be running the Brighton Half Marathon in March in memory of mum, and will be raising money for the Martlets. If you want to and are able, please consider donating to allow them them to continue running their vital service.
